This week our beloved Buddha Bomb… one of our original DJ’s has passed. He died following 71 years of a rich life  on the same day as he was born. He was loved by a very large and multifaceted community of family and friends… and collaborated, connected and enriched many circles.

His gathered wisdom and love for humanity….. his love for our community and especially his love and passion for music and its healing power to bring higher levels of consciousness influenced so many among us. His way was both humble and noble.

He was scheduled to play this upcoming Thursday, March 2nd 2023… to take us on one of his epic journeys through time and space; always edging us a little closer to our true nature on his waves of sonic frequency.

Now the tables have turned and instead it is he who is making that epic journey through time and space. It seems a very special kind of sacred contract to me when one rides out through the same portal they came in on. He passed just minutes after the clock turned midnight bringing him full circle with his birth date Transcendance. Well done sweet friend. You are free.

Alongside our usual co-hearts we will be joined by some of his family members, and very old friends.

We shall hold a legacy memorial for him on the day he was scheduled to play, this upcoming Thursday March 2nd. His dear friend, business partner, creative coheart and co conspirator in life Raja Ananda will do the honors and play all music from Jim’s archives, from his library. All proceeds will go to contribute to his financial needs in whatever way is best determined by his family and loved ones tending the final arrangements.

And we shall build an altar… providing such a portal of love and honor that surely he will still be able to feel it and know the impact of the living legacy of love he leaves with us all. Please honor his memory by bringing your Buddha’s, flowers, prayers, poems, and mementos for the altar.
